Women in Rotary

Historically, we may have been more of a male organisation, however, the modern Rotary welcomes women who are now an integral part of our operations.

With a female President of Rotary International,  the Club has turned its efforts to attracting more women to join our Club. There are many roles women can take in Rotary and our current female members play important roles in our community events; if you are female and unsure about joining, please reach out to us to have a chat with one of our female members.

A message from our President, Rotary International, STEPHANIE A. URCHICK

Rotary provides women with opportunities to do extraordinary things. We are immunizing children against polio on the front lines in Pakistan, working to eliminate cervical cancer in Africa and Latin America, stopping sex trafficking, and empowering girls and women through education programs in the communities where we live. We are helping to reshape our organization, bringing new perspectives and ideas to Rotary’s service projects and global initiatives.”
